About

I am currently working on my Ph.D. at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, but I hold two M.A.s, one in Art History from the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL) and the other one in Medieval Studies from the Central European University (Budapest, Hungary). My research is focused on the study of iconography and manuscript illumination, although using an interdisciplinary approach. I am very interested in gender issues and audience reception of the images that I am working on. My dissertation deals with the image of Bathsheba as Queen Mother as opposed to Bathsheba as a Temptress.
